The Cottage

WELCOME to a WATERFRONT vacation home rental by owner designed as a lighthouse with unobstructed views of Lake Sebago. Lake Sebago is the second largest lake in Maine and connects to Brandy Pond and Long Lake for over 30 miles of exploring and fun. Accessed by 2 nine vehicle ferries (runs every 30 minutes), Frye Island is perfect for family vacations with plenty of activities to keep everyone occupied or just relax The cottage sleeps up to eight people (max six adults). There are three bedrooms including a second floor octagon shaped master with a high peaked ceiling, a queen bed, its own full bath and slider to an outside catwalk which has a spectacular view of the lake. The second and third bedrooms are on the main floor, one has a queen bed and the other two twins. There is also a loft the size of a large bedroom with two skylights and an octagon stained glass window. It is accessed by narrow stairs and a handrail and has a twin daybed with a floor twin trundle. The house has an octagonal kitchen, another full bathroom, family room, and a small unfinished basement with clothes washer and dryer. There is a side covered porch leading to a deck on the lake side of the cottage.

Amenities

A clothes washer and dryer are located in the unfinished basement. The kitchen is fully equipped with the exception of an icemaker. Fiber internet and Roku TV are installed. Outside there is a propane grill and at the water you will find two kayaks and a small dinghy for your use.

The Island

The island has a nine hole public golf course with club house & Leisure Lounge. Walk or drive to the small general store, Frye's Leap Café for food, drink, ice cream, or to supplement supplies. Visit the Community Center for children and teen activities. Also, Frye Island has pickleball & tennis courts, an outside basketball court, a small in ground pool, baseball/soccer field, hiking trails, and 12 public beaches.

Saturday to Saturday rentals 2023:

$2975/week high season

$2850/week after Labor Day weekend and before June 24,2023
